Assemblies too large for bench mounted welders and those hard-to-reach joint areas can be ultrasonically assembled with hand held spot welders. Compact and portable, these units can stake, insert and spot weld materials ranging in thickness from 1/32" (0.8mm) through 9/32" (7mm). The units consists of an ultrasonic power supply and a lightweight hand gun. In operation, the operator simply applies the horn tip to the work surface and depresses the switch on the gun’s housing.

These small modified drill press stands readily accept the small lightweight handgun. This relieves the operator of some handling responsibility for straightness and depth, while still keeping the costs down.

The C Series is a continuous operation power supply, offering reliability and repeatability. The 15 kHz, 20 kHz and 40 kHz models are available with power outputs from 200 to 4000 watts. These units can also be controlled the customers PLC.
