Spin Welding, also referred to as rotary friction welding, is the joining technology of choice when assembling cylindrical shaped thermoplastic parts. While spin welding works with all thermoplastics, and can accommodate virtually any size diameter part, it is specially suited for parts made of semi-crystalline materials, as well as assemblies requiring significant tooling relief because of their particular geometry.

Our linear vibration welder is designed for assembling large and/or irregular shaped thermoplastic parts up to 48"L x 22"W x 22"D, or for assembling multiple small parts simultaneously. It welds virtually all thermoplastic materials, whether injection molded, extruded, formed or thermoformed, as well as dissimilar materials (with compatible melting points), materials with fillers, and composite materials and fabrics.

Featuring full programmable control of temperature and cycle time, our Hot Plate Plastic Welder provides unparalleled precision and consistency across a broad spectrum of manufacturing applications. Hot plate welding produces seals as strong as the welded materials. It welds both small and medium size parts, as well as multiple parts produced by injection molding, blow molding and extrusion. And since there is no relative motion between the joining parts, complex shapes such as curves can be readily welded.
